Promoting a Vibrant & Growing Tourism Industry in Georgia

The Travel and Tourism Council is made up of business leaders from across the state focused on advancing Georgia’s tourism industry, and growing awareness of the significant economic impact of the $66+ billion industry in Georgia.

The Council serves in an advisory capacity to the Georgia Chamber on tourism related issues, and works to shape the Chamber’s legislative priorities and policies that impact the industry. The Council will address annual goals and collectively work towards executing the Georgia Chamber's long-term strategic plan. Led by a board-level chairperson, the Council also provides guidance in areas such as organizational strategy, resource development, promotion, and engagement.

All Georgia Chamber members are eligible to participate in the Council, which will meet quarterly. The Council will host legislative update calls during the session, and industry issues will be included in the Georgia Chamber Business Action Network communications.
